ABOUT ME

Hi! Welcome to my educational blog where I love sharing about teaching 6th grade math, my math resources and being transparent about my successes and challenges in helping kids work on their math minds. I love sharing all my teaching strategies and activities with my fellow teacher community!

I have been teaching for fourteen years and it math is definitely one of my passions.  Before becoming a teacher, I was a successful Executive Recruiter in NYC but I always knew my true calling was teaching, so I took a leap of faith and I’m happy I did!

In sharing my journey with you, I hope to inspire other teachers to help students build their math confidence through challenging activities and fun along the way. 

My favorite place to be is with my family: my husband, our three adult children, and of course our dog, Bean. When we’re not in PA, we’re visiting our kids in Tampa, Chicago, and NJ. We love spending time near the beach. I’m also a major crafter(all things Cricut, crocheting, crafts in class). My family has been my biggest support system, encouraging me to share my love of teaching and creating activities and resources. I’m stepping out of my comfort zone to share it all with you:)
